The Universal Banker will recommend appropriate solutions to meet customer needs, including opening all types of accounts. This position will require you to have a thorough understanding of all products and services, expand and strengthen customer relations. The Universal Banker will perform the role of a teller or head teller for all operational functions based upon the needs of the branch . This position will also cover other branches to meet departmental needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists tellers in solving customer problems
  • Assists tellers with balancing problems, including investigating teller differences
  • Acts as an expert and trusted resource for all products and services including online & mobile banking
  • Develops and deepens customer relationships by demonstrating ownership and resolving customer needs
  • Identifiesand cross sells products and services based on customer needs
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and holds self-accountable for performance
  • Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
  • Complete all audit logs accurately within define time frames
  • Contribute to branch sales goals by identifying referral opportunities and/or opening new accounts
  • Actively participate in Bank campaigns and initiatives
  • Conduct consultative conversations with customers/prospects to determine needs, advise and provide solutions

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Prior teller/platform experience.
  • Sound knowledge of financial services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong math and keyboarding skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

☒ High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Required Years of Work Experience: 3

Preferred Education/Experiences:

Two or Four-year college degree, experience as a teller or other banking experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
