I am surrounded by cultured and intelligent individuals filled with knowledge and expertise of all areas. I am continually seeing advancements in my growth, both personally and professionally, through the ability to work alongside strong leaders every day.
Can you share a memorable moment or accomplishment during your time here?
One of my most memorable moments was a time where I actually fell ill at work. While that sounds strange, it was a moment where I realized this is not just a job, this is a family. I was surrounded with love by not just co-workers, but true friends who made sure I was okay and truly cared about my health and my recovery. You don’t find a job, let alone a career, where the people around you care the way they do here at DR Bank.
How has your experience at DR Bank contributed to your personal and professional growth?
DR Bank allows for both freedom in creativity, alongside providing structure and discipline. The combination enables both of my unseen talents, both creative thinking and analytical problem-solving, to be used. The ability to utilize both talents in my role has allowed for refinement in my skillsets, as well as, enjoyment in my day-to-day work.

The culture at DR Bank is unmatched. The energy, the drive, and hunger for success is evident, but not at the expense of its employees. Every employee is made to feel important, valued, and heard. It is unlike any other workplace I have ever been a part of, and I cannot see myself anywhere else other than DR Bank.

What do you enjoy most about working here?
What I enjoy most about working at DR Bank is the family-like environment. Although I’ve only been here for a few months, everyone has been so welcoming, supportive, and friendly that it feels like I’ve been part of the team for years. The close-knit dynamic with my colleagues has made my adjustment to the new role seamless as a newcomer at DR Bank.
Can you share a memorable moment or accomplishment during your time here?
A memorable experience I had at DR Bank was circulating at the Christmas party and conversing with colleagues, who expressed gratitude for the support I’ve provided throughout the months. This demonstrated to me that hard work at DR Bank does not go unrecognized and motivates me to continue performing to the best of my ability here.
How has your experience at DR Bank contributed to your personal and professional growth?
DR Bank is my first professional job straight out of college, and in my short time here, I’ve learned a lot about how the corporate structure operates. Working at DR Bank has also helped me gain confidence in my role as an IT Support Specialist. Initially, I was a bit hesitant to navigate the various systems, but the support and assistance from my colleagues helped me gain confidence and a better understanding of the banking industry and the different systems used.

I would recommend DR Bank as a great place to work because it offers a super positive work environment with amazing colleagues who are willing to help you succeed.

What do you enjoy most about working here?
I enjoy being able to work with and see different people in each department. Coming from a large institution, we almost never talked or saw any other department aside from the branch staff. It amazing to see the President and all the Chief officers in the branch.
Can you share a memorable moment or accomplishment during your time here?
My memorable moment was being hired at DR Bank. This opportunity allowed me to see how I can adapt to a new environment. Since DR Bank was smaller, a lot of things are handled manually so the adjustment took a little time.
How has your experience at DR Bank contributed to your personal and professional growth?
Working at DR Bank has greatly contributed to my personal and professional growth by allowing me to expand my customer service skills and gain more self-confidence and allow me to learn in an open environment. I also learned knew skills like project management and document editing which have greatly helped further improve my skills with detailed oriented work.
